These terms are the agreement between you and Arkade (“we”, “us”) for using arkadegames.xyz, our games and your account. By creating an account you accept them, together with the Payments & withdrawals rules, the Game & tournament rules and the Privacy Policy, which are part of these terms.

1. What Arkade is

Arkade runs short head-to-head games of skill: Brick and Circles. In every match both players get exactly the same field, generated from the same seed, and the result depends only on how they play. There is no random element that favours one player. You can play for free in practice mode, or put a stake on a match or enter a tournament with money on your balance.

2. Who can play

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
• Playing games of skill for money must be legal where you are. You are responsible for checking this before you stake.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal: you may not share, sell or transfer an account or play on someone else’s.
• The information you give us must be true. We may ask you to confirm your identity and age at any time, in particular before a withdrawal.

3. Your account

• Keep your password safe. Everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• Your nickname is shown to opponents. Nicknames that are offensive, impersonate someone or advertise something will be changed.
• You can close your account at any time by writing to support@arkadegames.xyz. Your withdrawable balance is paid out first.

4. Money matches, fees and balance

• Your balance is kept in US dollars. Stakes, winnings, fees and prizes are always shown in dollars before you confirm.
• When you stake on a match, the stake is put on hold. The winner receives both stakes minus our fee (the rake). The fee is a percentage of the pot shown in the lobby before you play. In a draw both stakes are returned in full, without a fee.
• Open challenges: if no live opponent is available you may play first and leave your result as an open challenge. Your stake stays on hold until someone plays the same field against your result, the challenge expires (stake returned without a fee), or you cancel it after the minimum holding time (a cancellation fee applies, shown before you confirm).
• Tournament entry fees include our fee, shown on the tournament page. Prizes are listed on the tournament page before you register.
• Deposits, withdrawals and the rule that deposits must be played once are described in Payments & withdrawals.

5. Fair play

The game server decides every result: it checks every action and keeps the full record of each money match. You must not:

• use bots, scripts, macros, modified clients or any software that plays or assists you;
• collude with an opponent, deliberately lose, or pass money between accounts through matches;
• open more than one account, or play on behalf of another person;
• exploit a bug or a server error instead of reporting it.

If we find a breach we may void the matches concerned, cancel the related winnings and prizes, return stakes to the players affected, suspend or close the account, and keep what is needed to compensate other players. We tell you the reason and you can reply before a final decision.

6. Technical problems

• If you lose connection during a match, the match continues and your score stays as it was; leaving a match counts as a loss.
• If a match can’t be completed because of a failure on our side, it is voided and every stake on it is returned.
• An obvious error in a result, a balance or a payment may be corrected. Every correction appears in your statement with a reason.

7. Suspension and closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect other players. Unless the money comes from fraud or a breach of these terms, the withdrawable balance of a closed account is paid out to an address the owner provides.

8. Our responsibility

We work to keep Arkade available and correct, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We are not responsible for losses caused by your device, your internet connection, a wrong withdrawal address or network, or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters for your money, we tell you before it applies; matches and tournaments already started keep the rules they started with.
