Payments & withdrawals

How money gets onto your Arkade balance and back to you. These rules are part of the Terms of Service.

This is a test stage: new accounts get a test balance for trying money matches. Test money can be played with but never withdrawn.

Your balance

Your balance is kept in US dollars. Everything on it is shown in your account: the balance, what is on hold in open games, how much you can withdraw right now, and a statement of every operation.

Deposits

• Deposits are made in cryptocurrency through our payment provider, Trybit. You choose the amount in dollars and pay in one of the coins offered on the payment page.
• Your balance is credited after the transfer is confirmed by the network. We credit the dollar amount that actually arrived; if you send less or more than the invoice, the amount received is credited.
• Trybit’s processing fee is paid by us. The network fee for sending your own transfer is set by the wallet you send from.
• An unpaid invoice expires after the time shown on the payment page. Do not send money to an expired invoice address.

Play before you withdraw a deposit

Every deposit has to be used in stakes or tournament entries at least once (1×) before that money can be withdrawn. Winnings and prizes are not affected: they can be withdrawn right away. Arkade is a games platform, not a payment service, and this rule keeps it from being used to move money. Your account always shows how much is still to be played and how much is withdrawable.

Withdrawals

• Request a withdrawal in your account: choose one of the coins and networks below and paste your own wallet address on that network.
• The amount leaves your balance when you send the request, so it can’t be staked meanwhile. If the request is rejected, it comes back to your balance at once with the reason.
• Every withdrawal is reviewed by a person. Most are paid within 24 hours; the review can take up to 72 hours.
• We pay the network fee and the provider’s fee: the amount you request is the amount sent.
• One withdrawal at a time: you can request the next one when the previous one is paid.
• Before a payout we may ask you to confirm your identity and age, in particular for large amounts or unusual activity.
• Check the address and the network. A transfer to a wrong address or a different network can’t be reversed or recovered.
• We do not pay out to addresses linked to sanctioned parties, mixers or fraud.

Coins, networks and minimum amounts

Minimums exist because sending a small amount on some networks costs more than the amount itself.

Refunds

• Stakes and entry fees for matches and tournaments that were played are final.
• If a match or tournament can’t take place or is voided because of a problem on our side, every stake and entry fee is returned to the balance automatically.
• A cancelled tournament returns every entry fee to the balance.
• If you deposited by mistake and haven’t played the money, write to us. We review such requests case by case and, if approved, return the unplayed amount to the address it came from, minus the network fee.
